The Fish Fry, just a few minutes outside of George Town to the west, is the perfect spot to kick off your Friday night. The dozen or so restaurants serve up a variety of dishes and cater to many tastes. The restaurants might not look like much as you drive pass them along the Queen's Highway...but what they lack in appearance, they make up for in good home-cooked food and a fun atmosphere that's authentic to the out islands of The Bahamas. Tourists mix with locals, kids play together, and the Kaliks and rum punches flow like water.
Friday night is a must, but check them out any night.
