Escape

The villa is perched on a bluff just 12 feet above the private cove known as Love Beach, giving you remarkable views of its crescent shape, the turquoise ocean, and small cays beyond.  With the beach just down a short set of stairs, it's yours from sunrise to sunset. And after your time and the beach, there's a private outdoor shower where you can rinse off and refresh.

The infinity pool is the centerpiece for relaxing by the swaying palms and listening to the waves lap on shore.  The pool deck features ample room to lounge, hang out, and soak up the sun.  The poolside beach bar makes it easy to keep the good times going day or night and was built using wood salvaged from a shipwreck.

The Salt House's interior design projects a natural, monochromatic pallet, leaving the color to the ocean.  The villa features a balance of furnishings from Restoration Hardware and Bungalow Home.  The master bedroom has a king size bed, while the Oceanview and Palmview bedrooms and the Beachfront Cottage feature gorgeous queen size beds.  All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and french doors that open to the tropical paradise around you.

Adventure

After you arrive at The Salt House and get settled, you might find it challenging to leave.  If that's the case, don't worry, there's still plenty to do and explore right there in front of you.  With the beach and ocean just steps from the pool deck, the things to do are endless.  The calm clear water of the cove is bordered on both ends by rock outcroppings that are great for snorkeling to see coral and tropical fish.  Use the kayak or stand up paddle board to explore the surrounding areas, even the small cays with their own unspoiled beaches of their own.  Making sandcastles and playing beach games are also perfect leisure activities.

Away from the Salt House, the Exumas are a very safe and friendly place, which makes it great to get out and experience.  From Kaliks and Rum Punches at the many iconic beach bars to a day's boat trip up the Exuma Cays to see the Swimming Pigs and Thunderbolt Grotto, to guided kayak tours or renting at boat at Minn's to explore Elizabeth Harbour on your own, there are so many ways to experience Exuma.  Along with our on-island property management company, Fun In The Sun Vacation Rentals, we have developed a curated list of activities and providers to find only the best and most authentic experiences for you.
