It's January 28, and we're taking a quick trip to Exuma to check in on the progress.
The flight in on Delta is awash with excitement - and a couple of the featured Blue Chair Bay Island Punches enhances it - as we fly over Grand Bahama, New Providence, and down the Exuma Chain. Just flew over Nassau. A mild winter aside, can't wait to get in and feel the warm sun - the Captain just came on to say that the weather is 81 degrees in George Town. I love watching the colors of the ocean change and seeing the unmistakable Exuma Blue water from 30,000 feet. "What cay is that?", I wonder. The "H" shape for Highbourne cay is easy to spot. Cloud cover, Nooooo! Ok, it's breaking. Which one is Staniel Cay? The seas look pristine today, but isn't that every day.
Heading in to the Exuma airport (GGT). Can't wait to get through customs and get to George Town to meet up with our builders Peter and Juan from Guana Construction. We're going down to Little Exuma to to see how things are going and discuss any necessary changes.
A little work. A little play. Going to be a great weekend.
