A Wise Man Once Told Me...

There was a monk who wanted to close himself off from the world to meditate and rid himself of the wants of society, so he lived in a small room and sat on the floor in peace and quiet. After awhile, he began to hear a mouse squeaking which made him unable to meditate. A friend told him to get a cat in order to catch the mouse. Then the cat needed milk, so the friend told him to get a cow to provide milk. Then the cow needed to be taken care of, so the friend told him to get a wife to care for the cow. And so on and so.

The tale, as told by our friend Marcus Nispel, illustrates that the ever expanding needs that people have can easily get in the way of their goals. At The Salt House, you will have the beach at your feet, beautiful waters at your fingertips, and the tropical sun upon your face. There's little else to need without things getting in your way of experiencing the privacy and laid back life that comes with Little Exuma.
